The HubSpot Content Hub (CMS) brings your website, blog and contact data together on one platform because it sits directly on the HubSpot CRM. Since April 2024, the CMS has been called Content Hub. This overview covers the most important features and the edition each one requires (Free, Starter, Professional, Enterprise). The information applies to existing Content Hub accounts, as of 21.10.2026.

Features of the HubSpot Content Hub (CMS)

Drag-and-drop editor

In the drag-and-drop editor, you create and edit web pages without programming skills. Via the Marketplace, you access themes, templates and modules to build your website on.

Responsive design

Websites in the HubSpot CMS can be optimized for mobile devices. How well that works depends on the theme you use. So check the mobile view when choosing a theme and test new pages in the preview before publishing.

SEO tools

The CMS includes on-page SEO recommendations, meta tags and URL redirects. With the Google Search Console integration, you see clicks, impressions and positions of your pages directly in HubSpot. The integration is included from Content Hub Professional or Marketing Hub Professional.

AEO and AI visibility

More and more search queries are answered by AI systems such as ChatGPT, Perplexity or Google AI Overviews. Clearly structured content, headings phrased as questions and a clean technical foundation help these systems understand and cite your pages. How to implement Answer Engine Optimization (AEO) in HubSpot is covered in our AEO Guide 2026.

Personalization

With smart content, you show individual modules of a page or blog article depending on the visitor, for example by country, device type, source or browser language. Rules based on list membership or lifecycle stage use CRM data and apply to known contacts. Smart content for pages and blog is available from Content Hub Professional.

Content staging

In the staging environment, you redesign pages and test changes before they go live. You publish several pages together. Content staging is available from Content Hub Professional and does not support multi-language content.

Integrated CRM

Because the Content Hub is built on the HubSpot CRM, you use contact data directly on your website, for example for smart content or private pages. You set up member and customer areas via memberships: contacts get access through CRM lists, register and log in with a password. Memberships require Content Hub Professional (up to two access groups) and run on a subdomain connected to HubSpot. Accounts with an older CMS Hub Professional do not support memberships.

Blogging platform

The blog offers scheduling, content optimization hints and multi-language variants. You share new posts via the social tool of the Marketing Hub (Professional or Enterprise), which also includes automatic publishing of new blog articles.

Security and hosting

HubSpot hosts your website on a managed infrastructure with an SSL certificate, content delivery network (CDN), web application firewall (WAF) and round-the-clock security monitoring.

Analytics and reports

The built-in analytics deliver insights into page performance, visitor behavior and the impact of your content. For example, you see which blog articles turn visitors into contacts and expand exactly those topics.

Multi-language support

You maintain pages and blog in several language variants. The limits depend on the edition: the free tools allow up to three language variants per piece of content, Content Hub Starter up to 50, Professional and Enterprise an unlimited number (HubSpot Knowledge Base). Automatic AI translation is available from Professional and uses HubSpot credits. It is not available for custom modules.

AI features

With Breeze, HubSpot's AI, you create drafts for blog articles and pages, write meta descriptions and revise web copy. With Content Remix, you turn one piece of content into further formats, such as social posts, images or a podcast episode. According to HubSpot, Content Remix is in beta and requires Content Hub Professional or Enterprise. Some of the AI features run on HubSpot credits, which HubSpot labels in the product. The foundations in data, processes and team that should be in place before you start are described in 6 Requirements for AI with HubSpot Breeze.

Cookie consent management

You create and manage cookie banners to obtain your website visitors' consent to tracking. We compare which providers are worth considering in Cookie Notices: 5 Common CMPs Compared.

HubSpot Content Hub pricing

The Content Hub comes as Free, Starter, Professional and Enterprise. With the free tools, you build small sites. For new accounts in Europe, a new pricing model has applied since October 1, 2026. You book one edition for the whole account, pay monthly per seat (GTM seats for everyone who engages customers, Ops seats for everyone who builds the system) and use HubSpot credits, for example for workflow actions and AI agents. Each edition includes monthly credits (Starter 5,000, Professional 10,000, Enterprise 15,000), and unused credits expire. The details are in HubSpot's product catalog supplement, current prices on the Content Hub pricing page. An overview of the editions with prices and seats is available in the HubSpot Blog's Content Hub pricing guide. Before you decide, check which model applies to your account.

Who the HubSpot Content Hub is for

The Content Hub suits B2B companies that want to bring website, content and CRM data together on one platform. Three points decide:

  • Website, blog and CRM draw on the same contact data.
  • SEO, AEO and analytics features are included, and HubSpot takes care of hosting and security.
  • Multi-language support, personalization and AI features grow with the edition.

Our recommendation: Starter is enough for a website with a blog. Professional pays off as soon as you want to use smart content, memberships, content staging or automatic translation, because these features require Professional.
